Vicky Markolefa is an award-winning director, producer, and documentary filmmaker. Her extensive international experience spans over 40 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe.

She specializes in documentary, corporate video production and journalism. ​Vicky partners with prominent organizations such as WWF, Medecins Sans Frontieres, the World Health Organization, the WHO Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Google and ActionAid. She contributes to major media outlets including CNN, Sky News, CNBC, Euronews, 360info and Voice of America.

In 2016, Vicky co-founded Mind The Bump, a boutique production house acknowledged for its commitment to sustainable production.

Her filmography includes directing, filming, screenwriting and producing acclaimed films including "My Name is Blue", "Indigenius Loci", "The Last Fisherman", "Sekania", "Egeo The Sea For Me", "Excision", and "The Outcasts". Her work has received recognition at awards, festivals, and exhibitions worldwide.
